multiple song tracks

Hi
please, please, please somebody help!
just trying to figure out why i get multiple song tracks when i import, but more importantly is there a way or a setting to monitor this during imports and is there a way to easily delete all multiple tracks from my library.

seems the problem was in the music i imported. itunes had created a file for all my music and i was unaware of it....till now. i deleted the file, reloaded my music into a fresh winamp library and now all is gooooood! Thanx DJ !!!
