Live stream without shell access?

Hello!
I try to discribe my problem:

I have a shoutcast radio, i stream nonstop mp3´s from my shell. Now i want a friend to stream on evenings live from his PC. But i dondt want to give shell access to kill manually the streaming process to start streaming from PC. Is it possible to connect on a runing shoutcast radio to stream live from a PC? I mean, so that the normal shell-stream got interupted and when the live stream is over you can hear the shell-stream again?!

Thanx for help!

best regards

you can kick the source in the shoutcast server but as far as im aware sc_trans does not reconnect and you will have to either write or have written a script to reactivate it when you need to.
