songs are jumping

If I dbl click on a song when media library is open it jumps to a few other songs before starting the actual song.....i can not get the song I want to play...

any help is appreciated....

if you've moved the files recently. then your database(for the media library) is out of date.

click library --> remove missing files from library

then click
library --> rescan watch folders

Im not sure I know what you mean have I moved the files...
They are all in one folder on my computer..however, I did move some files (by type of music)to another folder.. but, the song I chose to play was not moved...or modified..

Is shuffle turned on? If you enqueue the song & then press the play button, shuffle would cause it to jump around the dead entries before it gets to the one you enqueued.
