logitech G-15

why can't I use the media controls with my keyboard? I can use them with media player but not with Winamp. I have the latest software from logitech.

Because Logitech decided to use a non-standard key assignment, so it works with just their software.

Plenty of work arounds have been posted.

you just need to turn on global hotkeys and it will work fine.

preferences --> global hotkeys

you don't even need to install any software from logitech.

Thax Rocker !!! Now that answer really did whip the Llama's ass !!! I forgot I posted that ? before I went on vacation, so when I got back I started trying to trouble shoot it again, and right there was the most simple of solutions. Much grass and 1,000 times Thank You.
