Trouble With Playlist Editing
While ripping my CD collection, I noticed that the information on a particular CD (provided by Gracenote) wasn't satisfactory. The album name is 'Ram It Down' by Judas Priest but the playlist insists it is 'Limited Edition Boxed Set'.
I pushed Select All on the Playlist Editor and highlighted all selections, right-clicked and the only probable selections were 'View File Info' and 'Playlist Entry' - both of which constrain me to one track at a time! Reluctantly, I entered 'Ram It Down' for all 12 tracks. (The bloated iTunes is simpler in this regard.) To add to my misery, it also added 'General Metal' in the Genre column TWELVE TIMES! WTF? So I downloaded and installed a plug-in called EZ-Playlist by BOYER jeanlouis and I can't figure out WHAT this garbage is supposed to do. Look; I'm kind of middle-tech on stuff like this but I'm feeling the stress meter rise over something that should be so logical and simple but this appears to be geared to a more highly technical person than myself. Why, I don't know. I really don't want to go back to iTunes especially since I just paid for Winamp Pro. How do I make simple adjustments/edits to multiple tracks w/o losing anymore hair and how do I get rid of 12 'General Metal' listings in my 'Genre' column? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advance. |

You can edit multiple files at once in the Media Library.
Select some files in one of the Local Media views, right-click > Edit selected items Or, for the playlist editor: http://nunzioweb.com/joonas/tagger/ |
