More error.

There was an error with the AVS when I close my winamp...

It sounds like this:

"Plugin executed illegal operation. Restarting of Winamp is reccomended."

What is this?

well, wildjack, there's a lot of bugs in avs so this is just one of them.
although you can ignore this particular one, i think, as it doesn't shut down the whole thing.

could be a plugin conflict happening but the error popping up is likely just the built in error handling kicking in correctly. i think there's an option on the plugins root page to disable the error handling message (though you'd probably still end up with the windows error message).

is it just a specific preset it happens with or all? only on the one machine, etc

happens to me too very rarely (once every few months)
With me, it occurs when I open AVS

for me, restarting was always enough.

Its almost certainly a dodgy ape, try removing all of them and seeing if it reoccurs, if not, add them in one at a time to find which one it is

Wotl, it appears when I close AVS (not when I open AVS).
I think it only occurs at my PC machine, my laptop doesn't have an error like this.
