Vocals in Techno

I have been a big fan of Trance for years. There is one thing that bothers me a lot, vocals. I swear, I will be listening to a shoutcast and there will be a song with an incredible beat. Out of nowhere will come this girl saying "oh yeah" and it absolutely ruins the song. Why do musicians put vocals in their Techno/Trance/Jungle? I just don't understand.
