i've split your post from here just to keep the sticky thread simple (forgot to lock it so will do that now, heh). had been wondering when i'd see someone make use of the example lng i've built (was never any mention from people with the 5.34 one, heh).

I used the 5.34 pre built lng file. But I did not post it here, because I thought 5.35 will be out soon and now it's time for it. And it was good like this, cause you brought us some new strings to translate.
Can the link be used by users or should I attach the file? |

the link is http://www.dynaletik.de/downloads/Deutsch.rar (from the 'here' at the end of the first post - i guess the link isn't showing up as clearly after the site redesign a few months back now)

Thanks for the link, it doesn't appear in the first posting.

Eh, well.. thanks, But why it is only half translated? Everything connected with the media library is untranslated, the settings for ml and even only the plugins connected with ml (media library and portables) are untranslated.
Why is that?

because that's what the language pack specs are currently and is how it's been for years - the language pack only official does the core of winamp ie winamp.exe and none of the plugins

Since yesterday, a new german translation is up on the site, but the installer file are corrupted, but this is not my fault.
I mean this one: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/170474 I already translated parts of Winamp 5.5 Beta (compatible with 5.3 and the new 5.5 Beta 2) Downloadable at: http://*******.com/26s4d9 |

there's work being done on the site (for sometime now) which means any submissions are likely to be incomplete/not work correctly. when this will be resolved i don't know, you'll just have to wait until a message is posted up about things working correctly.
also you really shouldn't be making language packs for beta versions or any version now until the relevant example language pack is released (when things are finalised for that release). -daz |

it should be better to disable the plugin download.
7,466 downloads for the german translation on the website and 7,466 times a corrupted file, which means i am the culprit, because my name stands at the download for the german translation. AND THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR ME!!! |

you should be able to go into your profile on winamp.com and remove the submission from the manage page that way (or whatever it's called now since i refuse to use the system anymore). other than that, there's nothing else i can suggest other than to try again or just not bother with it.
