Hello all,
Please would you list all media players that are compatible with AAC+?

Preferably with out the box compatibility, please state if an extra plugin/download is needed to get the player working with AAC+.

Cheers.

1. Winamp
2. VLC
3. ....

Thanks all.

Any news on when iTunes will support aacPlus? Thought they would have sorted this by now?!

there is a petition out there that you can find if you search this forum.

Apple does not seem to give a hoot though...

They must be too busy cranking out products like the iphone to care.

Your mileage may vary!

There supposedly is an overhaul to iTunes plannes, but Jobs won't say squat with respect to what is actually being done with it...

Maybe that is why Jobs called everyone to Cupertino on Sept. 5th....

yep. forgot about that one too. Xine is legit and I believe it works "out of the box".

Xine is a double edged sword because it can rip as well without making the telltale second connection.

Is Xine a Linux program? I've noticed a lot less ripping when broadcasting aacPlus at 48kbps.

Rippers don't like AAC+, must leave a bad taste in their mouths.
