Can you see me?
Okay. I am on Qwest DSL with a 1497kbps Down stream and a 497 up stream. Shoutcast yellow pages update just fine. I have forwarded the port from the modem, to the router, to the pc and through my firewall. Also, I have placed the server in the DMZ to bypass all the garbage the modem and router may be throwing into the mix.
Now I can listen within my local network but if I enter my public IP address that you get from the yellow pages it fails to connect. I don't know about the outside world seeing it but I know from my end I have never been able to hit my WAN IP addy for a long while. I've tried everything I can think of and just can't get around this. Any ideas? Can you hear me? My radio station is easy to find in the search menu All caps KSPT RADIO Like I said, I can see myself in the yp but I can't connect to the wan ip address. Only my local 192.168.x.x worx. |

your router will not allow you to use your wan ip address.
if you can see yourself in the yp then you have nothing to worry about and all is working. |

thank you! I was trying all night and early this morning to find someone to at least try clicking my station but ran out of time. Then, while I was at work, I hit my listener peak. Thank you again.
