Help With Reason 2.5

If someone could help me with Reason 2.5 help that would be really wonderful.

I have had it for years and years it has always work.

Trying to currently use it and my midi from my Yamaha S90 Keyboard to a Presonus Firepod

I've done all the usual things checked the midi in another program it works,
checked under prefrences under midi and it works I see the green arrow checked but it
still won't get any signal in to record midi

yet you can hear previous midi that was recorded playback

Help, Help, this really stinks,
tried looking under help file not very helpful
