Stream Ripper problem

I have this strange problem when I use Stream ripper...right channel of the audio is way to low. The stream itself is fine when I lestion to it live, but when I rip it and with Stream Ripper and lestion to the saved stream I have the problem. Anyone know what the problem could be?
