Last.fm and ml_iPod problem! :(
I'm using last version: Version 3.01p04
with iPod Classic 80gb. I've a problem to scrob my tracks into last.fm. I'm using AudioScrobbler for Winamp v1.1.10 (i don't like the new lastfm plug-in). After connecting my ipod, winamp stop to submit all kinds of tracks. I think that ml_iPod make something wrong. If i take a look to the log i see that: 1073.281 09/23/2007 02:31:11 CScrobbler::ThreadCallback ReqID 119, Handshake Response - Plugin is uptodate 1073.297 09/23/2007 02:31:12 CScrobbler::ThreadCallback ReqID 119, New Interval is 1 1073.312 09/23/2007 02:31:12 CScrobbler::ThreadCallback ReqID 119, Server handshake completed OK 1087.937 09/23/2007 02:31:26 CScrobbler::ClearCache Attempting to send cache file 1087.953 09/23/2007 02:31:26 CScrobbler::ClearCache Sending Cache entry 'Kaiser Chiefs - Everything Is Average Nowadays (Yours Truly, Angry Mob)' @ 2007-09-22 19:59:33 1088.250 09/23/2007 02:31:26 CScrobbler::ThreadCallback ReqID 120, Submission is '', Response is BADAUTH INTERVAL 1 , Status Code 200 1088.281 09/23/2007 02:31:26 CScrobbler::ThreadCallback ReqID 120, New Interval is 1 1093.312 09/23/2007 02:31:32 CScrobbler::ThreadCallback ReqID 121, Submission is '', Response is UPTODATE 2cfc81156ab8c380328a2ec918caee26 http://87.117.229.205:80/protocol_1.1 INTERVAL 1 , Status Code 200 1093.328 09/23/2007 02:31:32 CScrobbler::ThreadCallback ReqID 121, Handshake Response - Plugin is uptodate 1093.344 09/23/2007 02:31:32 CScrobbler::ThreadCallback ReqID 121, New Interval is 1 1093.359 09/23/2007 02:31:32 CScrobbler::ThreadCallback ReqID 121, Server handshake completed OK |

BADAUTH indicates a problem communicating between the server and the client...
Really, I'd try just waiting it out a bit. The last.fm servers aren't known for being the most stable, but it's usually a nonissue because of the client caching until a successful send. *Edit: Actually, BADAUTH could also be related to an incorrect password if I remember correct. Could that be a possibility for you? |

Man I'm sure. It's not a password problem. I've tried to reinstall audioscrobber and ml_ipod too.
After reinstall ml_audioscrobbler.dll my scrob works until I'll install ml_iPod! After installing ml_iPod i got "Response is BADAUTH". Now the plug-in is trying to submit a song played with my PC. But i ha the same sh** Response is BADAUTH and the plug-in is chaching! ![]() Please someone help me!

Did you install ml_ipod with the last.fm option checked or unchecked? What version of the last.fm plugin is reported in the Winamp prefs?

I really don't know why but sometimes plug-in works.
Last.fm support doesn't want help because the plug-in is no more "supported"! ![]() If i change my password (on the last.fm website) sometimes works ... and after few submission the plug-in stop to work and give me "badauth" error. Look here: http://www.last.fm/forum/21713/_/329641 and watch the video! ![]() I hope that ml_iPod will support the new last.fm client one day. Whit this one I have no problem to scrobb my tracks. THANX |
