WINAMP 5.5 Bookmark Organizer Problem

Hello-

With the help of the forums, I had set up my internet radio statons in bookmark folders by category (ie-blues, jazz, ambient, etc.)in Winamp 5.35.

When I downloaed the 5.5 upgrade, my bookmarked stations were all back in one folder, and it would not allow me to move them back into the category folders I had created in the 5.3 version.

How do I get the stiaions back into their category folders?

BTW, I'm running Windows XP, servoce pack 2.

Thanks!

Bill

you'll need to install the updated version of the bookmark categoriser (changes in 5.5 means the old plugin won't work correctly) >> http://www.nunzioweb.com/daz/releases.html#13/10/2007

just installing the new version should have things working again (as long as you've not altered any of the bookmarks after the upgrade otherwise the indexing may be out of sync.

Daz-

You da man! Worked like a charm... many thanks!!!

If you don't mind, may I ask 3 unrelated question...

I have been using the MMD3 skin religiously. With the upgrade to 5.5 , I downloaded the Bento & Big Bento skins.

The questions-

Are there eny advantages in the Bento skins over MMD3?

What are the differences bewteen Bento & Big Bento?

What does the word Bento refer to?

Thanks again for all your help!!!

Bento works and MMD3 doesn't? At least for me that is the advantage. The difference between big and regular is the size of the buttons, people complained in the beta version that they were too small for large resolution displays so the large version was made. Bento means a packed/boxed lunch in Japanese.

cool, glad it's working (was a bit worried that you may have altered the original bookmarks which would have de-syncd the categoriser file but looks like that wasn't the case

is all a matter of personal preference since modern skins generally do their own thing and bar basic features, most of the funky/advanced things are never consistant between them. best advice is to use what fits with your needs after having tried things out.
