Internet connection

When I install WinAmp everything is allright. But when I start my computer again and try to get to the net I can't because my client "T-Online" (germany) tells me that he is starting the <<ppp-stack>>. Untill this notice it stopped all activities and freezed the system. What can I do?

Your net connection works when you uninstall WinAmp? Are you sure the problem is related to WinAmp?

Yes it does work when I uninstall WinAmp, but I'm not shure that WinAmp is the problem because when I
install RealPlayer I've got the same problem.
