WA 5.5 crashing on many m4a's

Embedded art? No clue... the files were ripped originally with Winamp 5.3x (which, incidentally, handles them fine now). They have been played using amarok in linux, which did find the album art online but created a jpg in the album folder. Afaik amarok does not modify the m4a's themselves. I'll look into that and post back if I learn more.

Maybe amarok added the tag that winamp finds offensive?

Sorry, I forgot to report that ALT+3 also causes the problem, and also ML scans can crash too. I found other files which play without crashing but crash when ML is scanning. Perhaps this problem is a related problem - I'll see if I can dig out the offending files.

I do not use itunes
