My playlist doesn't display the names of the songs in certain skins. I have installed exactly the same versions of winamp and the skins on 2 computers after a clean install of windows. Yet on one of my computers only syntax shows in certain playlists. While the other computer has no problem. How can this be??

Try this First. In Winamp...

Ctrl+P (for Preferences) > Options > select Load next to Read titles on

or

Try this second if you are having the problem with MP3 files and ths first suggestion did not work. In Winamp...

Ctrl+P (for Preferences) > Plugi-ins > Input >
1. Select Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder
2. Click Configure
3. Click the Title tab
4. Make sure there is a checkmark next to Use ID3v1/v2 tags
5. Make sure %1 - %2 is in the box under Title Formatting (when ID3 tag is present)
*** Steps may be different if using a earlier version of winamp ***
For more info. on the MPEG plug-in
Online Documentation: Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder plug-in v2.27 (x86)

Good Luck

<Edit: Added Try this Fist, Second...>

Another thing worth mentioning:
Maybe the designated font isn't installed.

First, you'll need to change the extension from WSZ to ZIP
Simply use "File -> Rename" to do this.
Now open the skin with your Zip program (eg. Winzip / PowerArchiver / etc).
Extract the file pledit.txt and open it with Notepad.
Look at the line : Font=
If the designated font isn't installed on your system, change this line to one that is.
Then save the txt file and add it to the original zip, thus replacing the old txt file.
Close your zip program & rename the skin from ZIP back to WSZ.

The only other thing that could be causing your problem is if there are any foreign characters in your playlist titles. If so, you'll need to make sure that you have the correct Windows language pack installed (Internet Explorer setup), plus the correct Winamp Language Pack installed.
Also : Prefs -> Display : uncheck "Use bitmap font for title display"

Probably not relevant, but worth mentioning anyway
