Winamp 5.51 crashes when synching iPod

Problem:

Winamp 5.51 crashes/shuts down when "sync" button hit for Portables/iPod.

Facts:

1. All basic plugins in place; no 3d party products

2. Individual playlists (and their files) CAN be xfered/drag-n-dropped to iPod, but global "sync" doesn't work. Since I have >30 playlists and over 2k songs, this creates a hassle.

3. Can reproduce this problem 100% of the time.

4. Problem only occurred with 5.51. 5.5 synched just fine

Solution:

I went here (http://mlipod.sourceforge.net/) to download ml_ipod.dll and get rid of Winamp's bundled pmp_ipod.dll. I now have my ipod back!

I strongly suggest there are major bugs wih pmp_dll and WA 5.51--with all due respect!

Solution:

I went here (http://mlipod.sourceforge.net/) to download ml_ipod.dll and get rid of Winamp's bundled pmp_ipod.dll. I now have my ipod back!

I strongly suggest there are major bugs with pmp_dll and WA 5.51--with all due respect!
