View/Browse/Unpack installer .exe file

Hi:

Reading the manual and some of the discussion threads here, it appears that NSIS package/software doesn't provide its own utility for viewing/testing/unpacking the .exe files it creates. Is that correct?

Is 7-Zip the only unpacker that will provide this functionality? Does it now do it for all the compression methods used by NSIS?
