Heya... Winamp n00b... Yes I've tried searching...
Heya... bit of a Winamp n00b here, tried searching for these but not had much luck..
- Organising library, is there a way to get Winamp to keep my My Music folder organised? Simlar to the way iTunes or Windows Media Player?? - Is there a way to make Winamp organise my My Music folder in real time? So when I drag and drop something into the root of it, it picks it up without having to rescan or drag and drop it into my library in Winamp?? I know Windows Media Player does this - I keep my music on my portable hdd and use it both on my work and home PC... Is there a way so that it keeps my preferences and play counts etc in a sub folder there?? I know iTunes has that functionaliy?? - I haven't searched for this, but does anyone if there's a plugin where I can see and share my library with other user's iTunes library's on my work network?? Thanks in advance Angus |

1 - You could try ml_org
2 - Again, ml_org might do this 3 - You can use Winamp from the portable hard disk. Delete paths.ini to make Winamp use the install directory to store settings and then edit Winamp.ini to change no_registry=0 to no_registry=1 which will prevent Winamp writing to the registry. If you can get the portable disk drive to mount as the same drive letter then you can use the ML to store ratings and playcounts. 4 - Not that I know of, try searching for a DAAP plugin.
