how to rapresent not-standar character

Hi, in my license.txt i have some characters like this:
è ò Ã_
and when i show them i get junk.
Have i to encode them in my license.txt in a particular way?

Try using RTF instead (WordPad).

already did...i tried to substitute "è" with "è" but nothing...it show me "è"...thx

Those both look identical to me, so it's probably not an encoding issue but a language/representation issue.
