New WinAmp and broadcasting

I've been using WinAmp v5.08e for the last year or so, for broadcasting. I've been seeing ads for the latest WinAmp version, where it advertises "remote access", etc.

My question is: If I was at work listening to my own stream, could I access my WinAmp (newest version) at home and cue up any song from my playlist for broadcast? If so, would this adversely affect the stream? If I can't do this, is there a way to do so (e.g. external program)?

Also, is there any other advantages for broadcasting with the latest WinAmp version?
