MPEG Video sounds like a Chipmunk in Winamp ONLY!

i just got this laptop and it has vista on it. Out of no where all my MPEG videos sound like chipmunks. i have tried to use the XP codec package and the CCCP package and both do the same thing. i messed with ever setting i can think of and spent 2 hours looking on the board. please help me I DJ and use videos to do this. the filters that winamp says it is using are...

Microsoft MPEG-1/DD audio decoder
MPEG Video Decoder
Sonic HD Demuxer

every video that sounds like this...has these settings.

please someone help.. it all worked fine on XP

Please provide additional Winamp & system specs, with specific attention to the Video playback Issues section. That will help the tech support gurus find a answer to your problem.
