Winamp 5.52 does not work with a IPod Nano 3G Firmware1.1?!
Hi,
we have two ipod nano 3G, one with the firmware 1.0.3 und one (new) with the firmware 1.1 - and we want to use winamp with our ipods. Winamp 5.52 (AFAIK the newest version) does not work with the ipod nano with firmware 1.1.! Winamp ignored the new ipod completely. ![]() With the other ipod nano (firmware 1.0.3) works winamp correctly. With iTunes works both. Whats the matter with winamp? tom (sorry for my bad english, i'm not a native english speaker) |

5.53 beta recognizes the ipod nano 3G with Firmware 1.1 - but only showed the video folder. Is's possible write songs to the ipod, however after a write procedure from Winamp 5.53 betat the ipod destroys the data in ipod: 0 music, 0 video, reset in the ipod unsuccessfully.
After this procedure it's necessary a reset in iTunes, after three times i like to take itunes for video and mediamonkey for music. Mediamonkey 3 (and iTunes) have no problems with the nano 3G V1.1. Sorry, but I'm happy no winamp-pro to have bought. bye - tom |
