Question with On-Demand Streaming
Alright, I got on-demand streaming to work on my shoutcast; the only problem is that I don't know how to set it to play all the songs in the folder that i specified for "contentdir" in sc_serv.
The url for playing the folder would go like: ...IpAddress:Port/content/song.pls The file "song" would actually be an mp3 file. Winamp would create the playlist automatically. I read over the on-demand streaming topic over and over, and did what it said, I just can't get it to play more than one song. Thx in advance for your help

Unfortunately thats because its the way it has been designed,
its not designed to provide a playlist of songs to your server. if you need this feature look at sc_trans if you have linux or the content delivery server links below in my sig |

Just curious here. If I were to say, join the on-demand mp3 files i want, it would work right?
Would I, then, be able to make the joined file change track names (in the program that's being used to recieve the broadcast) according to the part of the joined track thats playing? EDIT: Also, can you play .pls playlist files instead of an mp3 file for the on-demand streaming? Last edited by Esayi; 4th April 2008 at 18:23. |

if you have mixes on demand they will only play to the users that select them.
you will not achieve a playlisted (autodj) server with on demand im afraid |
