Winamp stops working when I close it.

Whenever I close the program, a message comes up stating that Winamp has stopped working, and that Windows is checking for a solution. That eventually fails, and Windows prompts me to close the program.

This generally wouldn't be a major problem (as I'm closing Winamp to begin with), but the error prevents my Winamp from keeping previously played song titles and other preferences.

I am using Winamp5.531(x86) on Windows Vista.

Same thing happening here. I've searched all over for a fix, but haven't found one yet ... Woe is me!
