SKin problem with the new version

hi im running vista and the latest winamp and im trying to install some skins i downloaded from winamp.com

when finished downloading winamp ask if it should install the skin i say yes and after that winamp reverts back to its classic skin :S and i now tryed 5 difrent skins its the same it goes back to classic skin and its not even installed the skin at all the only skins i can choose is modern or the bento thingie

any runed into this problem and know a fix ??

I am having the same problem under Xp, tried to uninstall and reinstall and still no skin working.

Also searching for a fix

Is it just modern skins that do not work? If so, maybe Winamp Lite was accidentally installed or Modern Skin support was inadvertently unchecked in the install options. Winamp Full supports modern skins. Winamp Pro is not required for Modern skin support, Full will do just fine. Try reinstalling Winamp with the Full version of Winamp and make sure 'Modern Skin Support' is checkmarked/selected under 'User Interface Extensions' in the Choose Components window of the installer options (see Attachment).
