Sounds like you have some firewall software or something is preventing Winamp from having an Internet connection. Check for known culprits like Norton Internet Security or Zone Alarm.
Otherwise... http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....d=161361#specs | Brought to you by ^V ^C | The one... the original... no seriously! |

Error MessageNo Internet Conection
If I was running Norton Internet Protection I'd look, If I had a firewall up, I'd look at that also. I have neither. I know, I know, I should at least a fire wall. I had Sygate Personal but something shut it down and I've never reactivated it. My Bad lol...
Any other ideas??? R' |

In Winamp preferences make sure the 'Internet Connection Settings' correctly reflects your internet connection. (Winamp > Ctrl+P > General Preferences)
-- and/or -- Try adding the following sites to Internet Explorer's trusted zones (Microsoft Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options... > Security tab > Trusted Sites icon > Sites... button) *.winamp.com -- and/or -— Try clearing MSIE's cache...
Still no luck? Quote:
