Winamp Display Problems
I am using WinAMP 5.531 with Windows XP MCE version.
In earlier versions when I started it up, the main window, the graphic equaliser and the playlist editor would all appear together in the configuration I had arranged them. Now when I start up only the playlist editor window appears. I can only get the main window and equaliser to appear by deselecting them on the main menu and then reselecting them. When I move WinAMP such that the playlist editor disappears off the bottom of the screen, it detaches and appears in a different part of the screen when I bring the main window and equaliser higher up the screen. I have also found that unlike previous versions, WinAMP will not minimise either when stopped or when playing.I can see the "Minimise Winamp" message but when I press the button nothing happens. Does anyone know why this happens please? |

What skin are you using?
Please attach your List Of Plugins, which will provide us with all this information and more. |

I am using the Winamp Modern skin. I have configured the One For Nunz plug-in as you said and attach the file produced. I don't have Hijack This installed at present but I'll download it and send on the file it produces. Hope this helps. |

Hmm, strange.
With Winamp closed, delete the studio.xnf file in the Winamp root folder (C:\Program Files\Winamp\studio.xnf, in your case), which will reset all modern skin sizes/positions. If the problem persists, you could do the same with winamp.ini, though that will reset all Winamp settings back to defaults. If the problem still persists, yup, the HJT log might show something... |

Many thanks for that.
Deleted the file as you suggested and re-opened WinAMP. It is much better. I have opened and closed it a couple of times and all the selected modules appear simultaneously. Tried pushing the playlist editor off screen as previously and it is fine when all the player is brought on screen. It also minimises OK so it looks like you have solved the problem. Thanks once again for your help. |
