Is it possible to get stations added to shoutcast?
I want to listen to a few stations on my iphone using iradio - which in turn uses shoutcast as its source.
One station I want to listen to over wifi on iradio is BBC Radio 5 live sport.. but it doesnt appear to be listed. It can be located at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/fivelive.shtml or http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/netwo...wmp.shtml?9all Is it possible to have this added?? Any help would be appreciated - really like listening to the other stations currently available and this would top it off... |

Winamp -> Playlist -> Add button -> Add URL
http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/live/live_int.asx Note, I got that url by simply right-clicking the embedded WMP Player on that 5Live website, and selecting 'Properties'. |

Thanks... I know how to add it in winamp - but I am wondering can it be added to the shoutcast website as winamp doesnt run on the iphone.
Iradio is the app that does - but it looks up shoutcast every time it starts up and its not possible to add a station / url in iradio... Is it possible to get a new station or url added on shoutcast.com ? |

Nope.
If the broadcaster is using the Shoutcast DSP/Server software to broadcast the stream, then stations are automatically added to the Shoutcast Dir. BBC Radio doesn't use Shoutcast, and therefore can't be added. ps. Sorry, but I'm not familiar with iPhone/iRadio. |
