download older versions

Does anyone know where I could download winamp v5.34? I found a few links but they seemed to redirect to version 5.53, which I do not want. (I already it installed, but it kept crashing repeatedly and randomly. So I finally just uninstalled it.)

Any help finding version 5.34 would be greatly appreciated.

Yer welcome

But let me quote here from something you initially said...

Now, if you want the people here to determine exactly what was causing your crashing issue in order to solve your problem with the newest version of Winamp, then instead of just giving up and reverting to an older unsupported version, you could provide the required info, and your problem will most likely be resolved.

But... it's your decision.

Yes, makes sense. Since I didn't have the time to troubleshoot it right now, I decided the quickest option would be to temporarily revert to a version I know works for me. But when I do get the time to do some troubleshooting, I will try and give all the needed info ;-)

Thanks again

The following have fixed 100% of all my problems over the years.

1) Close Winamp and wait 30sec (make sure winamp is closed in task manager)

2) Goto this folder:
- %appdata%/winamp

3) Delete that folder

4) Start Winamp again

If that doesnt do the trick also delete the winamp folder in the program files directory before you install the latest Winamp.

A installer option to clear all settings or to do a clean install would be nice for noobs

ClassicPro© v2.01 : This plugin allows you to use cPro skins in Winamp. ClassicPro skins are all SUI skins and loads very quickly. ClassicPro skins is even easier to skin than Winamp Classic skins. A new layout have been added since version 2.
