Multiple Actions, One Hotkey

Does anyone have anything to link two actions to one global hotkey? Currently, this dishes out an error when you attempt to create two actions to a single hotkey. It would be really nice to be able to do this.

This question has already been asked a long time ago in the discussion below but was not really answered. DrO had a plug-in (a very nice one) for his specific situation and not the overall question (multi-hotkeys).
