Unicode Song name
I have followed the insruction on this forum and able to display unicode characters in winamp. However, it still cannot display correctly in task bar. Only ???? is showed. I did not use 3rd party plugins. Everything is from Winamp installation package. My system is Vista. Winamp version is 5.531. How can I solve this? Thanks.

What's your default locale?
Do you have character/font support installed for the language you're trying to display? ps. You should attach your List Of Plugins anyway http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....d=161361#specs |

Thank you for your reply. I found out what causes. I disable all the suspected plugins and enable them one by one. It turns out that the gen_msn.dll causes the problem. I forget I have installed that one. The problem is from the 3rd party. Thank you DJ Egg.

If you want to continue using MessengerAmp, you can download the version that has Unicode support so ??? won't appear anymore.
