playlist trouble
Hi,
Just yesterday I bought a new laptop (with Vista home premium) and one of the first things I installed was ofcourse Winamp (pro) I have always used winamp and never had any problems, up untill now. This forum has been great giving advice about the preferences and so on, but I stumbled upon another problem, which I think is caused by Vista. I have searched through the forum, but have yet to find the answer, hence this post. My problem is that winamp doesn't 'remember' my playlist. It saves a playlist if I order it to, but it doesn't load automaticly when I close and restart winamp. I can get winamp to restart the way I left it, ONLY when I run it like an administrator. However when I'm in adminstrator-mode, the double-click-enque funtion doesn't work (even though the box is checked): double clicking a mp3 file will open up a NEW winamp (even though 'allow multiple instances' is UNchecked) which is in an 'normal user mode'. If I close this 'normal' intance of winamp and restart, the list is empty again... So the only way i can load a song, close winamp and start it up again with the playlist i closed it with, is when I run it like an administrator and load the songs via 'add song to playlist'. What i would like to get back: Winamp starting up, JUST like I closed it off the last time I used it, with being able to use 'double-click-enque), all in a normal mode (not admin) If someone is familliar with this problem, please help me, it would be greatly appreciated! (Sorry for my english) And further information: I have not installed any extra plug-inns. If any other information is needed, i'll try my best to give it! Thanks! |
