Are you sure that your files aren't incorrectly tagged? I cannot find any problems with my files and what you have posted.

Here a screenshot. Here you can see that my tags are right, my tag info is set right and that Winamp displays it wrongly.

At a guess, it's because the files are stored in a folder named "Rock"...
If there's no Album tag, then this causes the Media Library to guess that the containing folder is the name of the Album. This is due to the following settings: Winamp -> Prefs -> Media Library -> Local Media -> Watch Folders tab -> Configure button Metadata Reading Settings: Select "No guessing" (when 'smart' or 'simple' are checkmarked, it'll always guess that the folder name is the album) Winamp -> Prefs -> Media Library -> Local Media -> Options tab: Use Library title information for Playlist Item Formatting When this is checkmarked, the Playlist will show/base the playlist titles on what's in the ML's local media database, and because it's guessed the folder to be the album name, then that is what it shows if you've got %album% in the ATF string... If it's not ^that^ then sorry, but I'm not sure what else could be causing the problem. Providing a link to a sample file which exhibits this problem might reveal something... |
