vista/winamp/realtek/quad speakers -- help please

well, my problem is just like that:

vista (OS)/winamp (player)/realtek (soundcard)/quad (speakers) ---> only two speakers working

it plays only on two of my speakers. I know about the direct sound issue of vista. i thought openal would help me solve this problem.. but it doesn't..

can anyone help?

It will play through 2 speakers if its stereo only. Surround Sound content should use all speakers available considering if you set up the speakers right.

Otherwise, try the "Speaker Fill" option if available in the Realtek Audio Manager. It will take the stereo output and send it to the extra speakers.
