i myself do not like those id3 tags on my mp3s. is there any way, in the playlist, to make it show the filename, not the id3 tag for the artist and title? thats how i want to set it up, and i hope i can. thank you.

Preferences>Plug-ins>Input>Highlight "Nullsoft MPEG Decoder"
Hit configure>Title Tab>Uncheck "Use ID3v1/ID3v2 tags"

You could download a mass tagger, such as the following:

ID3 Taggers:
MP3 Tag Studio: http://www.magnusbrading.com/mp3ts/
MPTagger: http://surf.to/mptagger
Mp3-Renatager: http://www.renatager.de
Tag-A-Gotchi: http://welcome.to/toytools
MP3-Info Extension: http://odin.mutschler.de/mp3ext/
ID3v2 Tag Editor: http://www.audioxl.com/id3v2/
Dr. Tag: http://www.asterius.de/drtag/

These allow you to write the filename into the ID3 tag. You may not need to use them now, but it makes sure that your mp3s are compatible with other players (hardware and software) that may need to use them.

Like my photography? Buy some here....
