I get the standard Windows XP "This program has encountered a problem and needs to close" message.

Just wondering.

Winamp 5.51 (when released - but don't ask when) will no longer need the in_mp3 update patch.

Don't email or PM me concerning Winamp. Instead, either start a NEW TOPIC or post a REPLY in the appropriate thread in these forums. This will also benefit others who may have a similar question or problem. But before posting, please first Search the forums and read all FAQs and all Sticky threads.

Be it known that there is still a problem with Winamp crashing when adding files to the media library.

I am using Winamp 5.54 WITH the in.mp3 patch installed. The problem still occurs when adding a Musepack (mpc) file to the library. Twice I ran the add and twice it crashed at an mpc file. Removing the in_mpc.dll from the plugins folder and restarting Winamp the media library additions went smoothly and without problems. Once more tried and re-enabled the in_mpc.dll and attempted to add a folder of mpc files at which point Winamp again crashed.

With all of that said the bottom line is that you are still able to listen to files as long as in_mpc is enabled but you cannot add them to the media library.

Ok, Anytime I try to add the media library to the screen, its shows its trying to edit something and then the program crashes out. I added the patch mentioned but it still does it. ANy ideas, and no I am not a computer guru, just a dude who turnds his computer on, LOL.
