Sound Amplification

Hello,

Can anybody recommend a method or a plugin to amplify sound. I have my volume indicators at maximum and also the "Pre-Amp" in the equalizer window at maximum, still the sound in my headphones is not satisfactory.

buy an amp and some speakers.

the pre-amp and any other software amplifiers will just cause awful distortion, i wouldn't recommend using them at all.

the headphone jack is in reality a line out port to use in an amplifier.

do you have your wave and main volume controls in windows at maximum?
