playlist creation question

I am wondering if it is possible to create playlists by adding keywords/tags to tracks instead of by adding tracks to playlists? (something like what is used in last.fm tagging)

If not, is it possible to view, for each track a list of all of the playlists it is in?

I have many playlists which cover different elements of music, e.g. the instruments used, genre, mood, scale type, and a lot tracks are in several playlists, or I would like them to be, except that it is difficult to do what I want with the standard method of adding tracks to playlists.

Is there a way to do what I described above?
