winamp's not reading c.d's artist or album names

when i try to rip a cd, track no.'s appear but gracenote won't read artist names or album names

Do you have 'Use MusicID' unchecked in Prefs > Input Plugins > Nullsoft CD Plugin > Config.

also make sure that winamp has permission to connect to the internet (and any other program associated)
