Portables Hidden & not recognizing iPod
I took my iPod in to the Apple store to have it looked at. The tech updated me to version 1.1.2. It doesn't recognize it in Winamp anymore. It does recognize it on my work laptop in itunes. I can't figure it out and could use some help, as I have looked through the forums.

ml_ipod.dll installed
I removed the pmp_ipod.dll and tried ml_ipod.dll but this still hasn't worked.
In regards to the portables hidden issue. In order to make it hidden I right clicked on it and choose to hide it when no portables, ipod, weren't found. I thought that it would be easy to return it to the default setting, but after removing Winamp, and re-installing it hasn't changed. any help, direction, caustic remarks would be helpful |

update
So I removed Winamp completely. Did a flush of the registry for any signs pointing to Winamp. I attached my semi-useless old ipod and Winamp recognized it, as it had me choose it from a list of ipods. I can also see it through My Computer and drill down into folders and see all the music files.
then I attached the new ipod and My Computer sees it, but with the same name as the old ipod. I can drill down through folders , but no folders for music Open up Winamp and it doesn't see it. |
