Skins Not Working (Vista)

So, when I had the old version of winamp, every time I attempt to download a skin, my computer goes and says it doesn't work.
Normally, Winamp would automatically become that skin.
But it's not doing it.
Now I've downloaded the newest (5.54) and it's still saying the same thing.
Answer?

(I'm on Vista.)

OK. So you have 5.54 which means this pre-5.54 issue is already addressed and is probably not the problem...

Winamp 5.54
* Improved: Vista elevation (fixes: installing skins, filetype reg, Pro reg)
