Where is the Global Hotkeys option?

Hi,

I've just installed Winamp 5.54, and I can't find
the Global Hotkeys option in the Preferences window.

How can I use my keyboard's multimedia controls without
the Global Hotkeys options?

Thanks in advance.

(The file attached is a screenshot showing that there's no
Global Hotkeys options in the Preferences window)

You need to reinstall Winamp, but this time make sure that Global Hotkey support is checkmarked under User Interface Extensions.

Thank you, Nunzio390.

Do you know if there is a way to disable fade in and fade out in Winamp?

You can enable/disable fading/cross-fading in the DirectSound configuration options. Read this post by JonnyMac and the 6 steps he outlined there.

Oh yeah JM! I'd completely forgotten about that post.

yonyz...

Refer to that one instead of my first. I even supplied a screenshot that JM included in step #4 there.

Thanks again, JM. I totally forgot about that post.
Methinks I "may" bookmark it.
