Disk Writer "convert to format" output just noise

I've been trying to use the Disk Writer v 2.14 in single file mode, and only about half of my tracks are decoded properly to a wave format. The other half is just loud noise- sounds to me like the disk writer is dumping raw data, not wave format.

What's even more strange is when I select the normal file output (where it simply write individual files), all tracks sound great- but I need them all in one file!

I narrowed down the issue to the "convert to format" option. When in normal output file mode, if I just "force WAV file" everything works. As soon as I check the "convert to format" option, half the tracks are output as noise. I assume the single-file mode utilizes the same "convert to format" option by default.

So... has anyone else had this problem or is this a legitimate bug in the disk writer code?
