Help°! Want to play FM 94,9 SD and 105,3 (KIOZ-FM) in Winamp

Hey, I was in San Diego this summer and now I am back home and really miss my favorite radio stations from over there.

I love and often listen to LA's Indie 103.1 (they have a stream I can play in Winamp).

But I would love to be able to play 94.9 (www.fm949sd.com) and 105.3 (http://www.kioz.com/) from San Diego in Winamp.

94.9 only works in a browser window, and 105.3 won't even let you access their stream if you are outside the US.

Does anyone know how I can get those radio stations to work in Winamp? Thanks!

fm949sd.com = http://wmc1.den.liquidcompass.net/KBZT?MSWMExt=.asf
Drag and drop link to Winamp Main or Playlist window

kioz.com will need to be run through an American proxy. There has been discussion on this before, try a forum search.

Don't really know what you mean by this.

You could try changing the URL from .asf to .wma, but it sounds like something else.

Rename the asf part to asx.

Works fine after that.

also tried to use mms protocol that didn't work either.

Now I tried to stream other Windows Media content (
mms://ccdig.liquidviewer.com/indie103/.wma) and I get the same error (mpeg stream at http://38.116.132.31:9010 works just fine), so maybe the windows media decoder is the problem.

Try a clean install, see if that fixes it.
