Playlist link

I have just moved all my music to an external USB hard disc, and everything is working ok except my playlist which still has the link to the old locations for each track.

As this playlist has approx 80 tracks for it is there any way to change the links to the new track location for them all rather than doing it individually for each track in the list?

Thanks

open your playlist in a text editor like notepad

use the replace function to replace the old location with the new one. you'll have to do this to every line.

Thanks Rocker,

Can this done from the winamp program or do I just find the playlist file and open that?

Currently at work, so will try this tonight when I get home.

Brilliant, Im loving this program more every day. Just done what you advised in 30 seconds, rather than the 3hrs i thought it was going to take. Thanks.

Just for anybody else reading this, instructions are:
Manage playlist/ export playlist
open with notepad, do replace on the old part of the link
Manage playlist/ import playlist
