HI There All

I want to be able to run a specific playlist from a winamp shortcut and to make winamp open it in windowshade mode. I can do the open playlist thing, can't work out the windowshade element....

there's no commandline for that, but you can use an alternative settings file that has WINDOWSHADE=1

see the thread below as to how to tell winamp over commandline to use a different settings file.

http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....d=180297#multi

so you can do this, but you'll have to make an alternative to winamp.ini(or else it'll always open the same as its last state)

I've tried this after reading your instructions

/CONFIG="playlistsettings.ini" "C:\playlist.m3u"

would that be correct? or does the *.ini have to have the full path?

I have placed the new ini in the same directory as the standard one, would that make a difference?

because I have set the windowshade=1 in the alternative *.ini and I still cannot get winamp to open shaded.
