Can't Play HD content
Hi All,
Does any one know what is required to play HD content recorded on a media PC? I'm using Linux and Mythtv to record both standard def and high def content in a mp3 file format. I would like to play the recorded files on networked vista machines. The std def content plays fine but none of the high def content will play. The std def content is captured SVideo while the hd content is from a hd tuner card. File sizes range from 800 mb to 4 gb for std def and approx 18 gb for high def. Any far as I know drm isn't enabled on the hi def sources And all content plays fine on the local media server. I'm not sure exactly happens, win amp will either hang and just do nothing. Do I need a special purpose plugin or some other codec to play this? thanks |
