Virus in Winamp
Hi. Im getting AVG comign to me saying zlib.dll is a virus? Why is this... I redownloaded Winamp and its in there and AVG is classing it as a virus!

Please search the forum or at least read the last few active topics before posting. This is an issue AVG will need to address.

it is called false positive and the only way to circumvent is to either add an exception in the avg program or to report it to avg developers (who will come out with a fix)
false positive is where the antivirus scans a program/file and it comes up as a virus yet the program/file is actually harmless reasons false positive happens is that the program/file has the same characteristics as a known virus but does not perform as the said virus thanks rob (c)rob 2013 (picture & SN) (please note) As users we can't give others help unless we get full details of the problem that you are having |
